The Rat Verlegh Stadion in Breda has been the home of NAC Breda since 1996, replacing the club's former ground at the Beatrixstraat. Named after the legendary NAC forward Antoon "Rat" Verlegh, who scored 350 goals for the club between 1925 and 1941, the stadium sits in the northeastern part of the city, close to the A16 motorway. It was built to modernise the club's facilities and has since become a fortress for the Yellow Army, the club's famously passionate supporters.
