AVS

AVS is a Portuguese football club based in Vila das Aves, a town in the northern district of Porto. The club emerged from the restructuring of former Primeira Liga side Desportivo das Aves, which was dissolved in 2020 after financial difficulties. AVS was refounded under new ownership and quickly climbed through the lower divisions, earning promotion to the top flight for the 2024–25 season.
